Quick Take Review

Rugged and bristling with pockets. Uniquely styled with a blend of outdoor-technical and urban cues. Built to last. That’s the Triple Aught Design Force 10 Short.

Triple Aught Design constructs the Force 10 Short from a mid-weight nylon and cotton fabric. It’s a rip-stop textile that should hold up to years of wear. It’s also reasonably light weight and breathable.

The shorts are covered with no fewer than eight pockets. Two slash hand pockets come with built-in coin dividers. Inboard of these, Triple Aught placed two front pockets for carrying a phone or whatever other small survival gear you need on your next adventure. On the thighs are two large cargo pockets with D-rings for attaching additional gear and top-slots for holding longer items. And on the rear, you’ll find two wallet pockets. Frankly, I’ve never seen a cargo short that could carry more cargo.

Specs
Weight: 20 oz
Inseam: 10 in
Material: Nylon/cotton blend

Just as with the Stealth Hoodie (see earlier review) the build quality is top notch. Many seams are double stitched. Key wear areas are bar tacked. And the seat is reinforced.

Triple Aught tends to run a little lean on inventory so hopefully there are some Force 10 shorts still available. If not, pick up a pair of their Force 10 Pants and get a jump on Winter. Available at Triple Aught Design.
