Quick Take Review
For years, I’ve been carrying a bandana (or tying one around my neck) when skiing. Never know when you’re going to need one to clean your sunglasses or goggles after a fall or an impromptu snowball fight with the kids. I never bothered to do anything similar in the summer time until this year when I picked up a Buff at one of my local fly shops. I wore it on a recent hike into the Sierras and it did a marvelous job keeping the sun off my neck, allowing me to sunscreen only my arms. The Coolmax fabric also helped keep me dry on the trail. Ditto when I used it on a set of fly fishing trips.
The version I chose is part of the High UV series of products and is called, appropriately, Brown and Rainbow Trout (Blue). There are plenty of other options.
Available at Eastern Mountain Sports and Platte River Fly Shop.

Not a plug in, just part of the theme.
